The main exhibition "Gustav Klimt, Gold in motion" consists of works by artist Gustav Klimt and his contemporaries and offers visitors a new perspective of nineteenth and twentieth-century Viennese painting.

Golden and brightly coloured portraits, landscapes are on display as well as masterpieces, such as Klimt’s famous The Kiss painting, in large-sized versions. Visitors are immersed in the imperial Vienna of the late nineteenth century.

Between each projection of Klimt’s works is presented the short programme "Hundertwasser, in the wake of the Vienna Secession" which focuses on the impressive overall experience of the work of Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000).
